Hey guys, today I am going to make sure you know how to correctly report a bug to make it easier and more efficient for the developers to fix the issue you have occurring!
Pay attention to detail!
First things first, explain on it and elaborate on it, don't leave it for the developers to speculate or investigate (Dem rhymez), this simply wastes time they could be using to deal with other bug reports which have been more specific.
Don't just say "this doesn't work", make it detailed, specify what it doesn't work for, what happens and what it effects, you need to elaborate on it with as much detail as possible, this makes it much easier and faster for the developers to identify and fix the problem at hand!
Don't post a repeat report!
Check if the bug you're going to report has already been posted; if it has, DON'T POST IT AGAIN. It would be a lot more efficient and easy for you to bring up the thread which has already been made. This will give the thread a higher chance of being looked into as the thread will have more attention making it seem like a more dire problem.
If you do happen to post a bug as you didn't know it was already reported, don't sweat it, but if you can prevent it, please do, this will reduce the threads in this sub-forum and make it easier for them to get repairing those bugs.
Judging on whether it's best to post a thread, or contact an admin!
If you don't know whether to report it with a new topic, or contact an admin, you should ask yourself one thing. Is what you're reporting a personal issue or is it going to effect everyone?
So, if it's something that's to do with buying cubits, maybe its best to contact an admin, so they can resolve that issue for you, but maybe if it's a bug which will effect a lot of gameplay, it's probably best to post it here, alert the players and let them test it out for themselves!
Hope you can report bugs more efficiently and effectively now!
If I see something that needs elaborating, I will edit this post.
Note: can I please emphasise that this is not a place to file your reports; there is the whole sub-forum for that. This is to teach you how to do it in hope you make your own, efficient thread and get the bug resolved!
